Stanne tries to say all the world with apples : the desire, the people, the dreams, and how life is fragile like a child, like the beginning, like the peace….
She wants everyone to see, to feel the colours until it becomes to late. Her paintings are nice and easy like happiness…
My work in english….
My name is Stanne, and I am painting apples ( pommes ) flowers ( fleurs ) lemons ( citrons) or chillis (piments )… The size depends on the picture: they are between 2/2m to 10/10 cm…
With my paintings I trie to say many things…..
The apples are not only apples….they are like the earth, going round, and often blue, they are like the mother and the child, they are like a message of peace. I try to paint them male and female in one fruit, to say all the desires. The are often very close to each other, but they never be in touch.
After Eve, Newton, and the Beatles….you can see the apple of Stanne.
My apples are going around the world to be a message of love and tolerance…in all the colours of the rainbow…
The flowers are growing to go up to the sky…..and the daisys are saying, I love you….
The lemons have the juice you know.
The chillis are telling a fairytale, they are like little dwarfs, each one has his characteristic….you will see which one is like you… I also trie to say that they are like the pepper of life.
The « journal » is like a diary, I am painting each week a picture to say how I feel. Each picture has the same size 25/25 cm, and the number of the week.
If I sell one, I am painting another with the same number. I began in 2003…and it is like an everlasting calendar.
